The Faculty of Intermediate Studies works at preparing a generation of well-qualified leaderships who can effectively contribute in building a promising future in which Palestinian institutions can be constructed on high standards.

The financial and administrative sciences department (FASD) plays a key role in serving the society, thus it's considered a very important major in the faculty.  Because of both the importance of the FASD and the need to prepare a staff to work in it the faculty of Intermediate Studies has established the FASD.  The importance of the FASD is providing and supporting the society and institutions with the needed work-staff.  The FASD prepares staff in the following fields: Secretary, Business Administration, and Accounting.  Because of the importance of these specializations, graduates with – therefore – quickly fined their work opportunities everywhere.

1-    Business Administration Department:

Graduating well- trained and qualified work staffs on high standards via high quality education is the B.A.D first priority.  This department was established to provide and support students with the important administrative skills that help them seize various administrative posts.  After students' graduate from this department they are expected to work in all different administrative positions.

2-    Accountancy Department:

Experts and specialists in accounting are expected to graduate from this department through high quality education and accountancy curricula.  This department provides students with the crucial accountancy skills and information that prepares them to work at different accounting positions.  Graduates from this department are meant to be up-to-date with the latest and recent accountancy staffs. Students of this department can work at various financial institutions after their graduation.

3- Management and Offices Automation:

This specialization offers a high-quality education in secretarial and office work.  This department helps to facilitate office work via graduating executive secretaries capable at accomplishing their tasks effectively.  The work field for this department are various like governmental Ministries, Universities and special firms or offices.

4- Political Sciences:

Due to the high importance of the students political awareness and understanding throughout improving their scientific abilities which encourage the spirit of analysis and research, the Faculty of Intermediate Studies had inaugurates the political Sciences Department in order to build up students character upon the traditions and customs of the Palestinian Society to improve the political abilities and back their creativity up.  This department aims also at providing students with the theoretical background which helps them understand both the nature of politics and the surrounding political atmosphere in order to fulfill the needs of the society which are represented by the governmental institutions and streams.  Graduates are meant to be up-to-date with the improvements that the Palestinian front encounters day after another.
