From the very beginning of inaugurating the  faculty of intermediate studies in 1996 the computer department was open then to include four majors:

Design and Montage, Design and management of Internet Sites, Programming and data base and Electronic Devices Maintenance.  Whatever needed to train students is handy in this department like the scientific labs and other things.  Graduates from this department are able to co-operate with the community in the field of technology and education.  The computer department includes the following specializations:

1-    Programming and data base:

This major graduates perfect programmers who can deal with computerized programs throughout the programming languages.

2-    Design and Montage:

This major aims at graduating designers who can design and produce 3D animations and pictures for various media means like visual, audio or audiovisual means.

3-    Design and Management of Internet Website:

This department works at preparing specialists who are capable of designing internet websites via using silent animations and pictures together with using the programming languages which make the website vivid, outstanding and vital to talk about itself. Those designers can also maintain and mange the electronic websites according to the subscribers and their needs.

4-    The Computer Maintenance:

As a result of computer wide-spread, it's become a necessity to have technicians who are well-qualified and trained theoretically and applicably to fix and maintain all electronic devices and computers regarding soft and hard wares.
