Public Relations Department
The PRD is a vital administration in the Faculty of Intermediate Studies that works at both joining the faculty with the local community and enhancing the internal relations between the students and the administration on the one hand and between students and their instructors on the other hand in order to create positive and strong relationships along with mutual understanding between the administration and the entire community of the faculty to bring out a good reputation and stereotype for the faculty together with keeping a continual relationship with the local community. Achieving this needs extracurricular activities and programs supported by offering tactical assistance to other sub-administrations of the faculty and the needed guidance and help for the students. This department aims at keeping the media up-to-date with the news and latest events of the faculty throughout high standards, obviousness and transparency.
The main responsibilities of the Public Relations Department:
This department shoulders the following responsibilities:
1- Producing the faculty's publications and printouts. For example, leaflets, reports, pamphlets, brochures and introductory periodicals.
2- Organizing the special main events like conferences, exhibition, seminars and symposiums.
3- Archiving any news or anything related to the faculty.
4- Preparing and organizing celebrations, festivals and field trips.
5- Keeping good socializations inside the faculty, such as congratulations and condolences.
6- Keeping the local community and Media up-to-date with the faculty's activities.
7- Feeding and updating the Faculty's website with information regularly.
8- Receiving visitors and delegations with carrying out all the relevant ceremonies.
9- Exposing the main goals, policies and services that the faculty offers to the local community.
10- Preparing and distributing questionnaires to get feed back from the community about the faculty.
